Gin Bothy Announces Strategic Partnership Supporting the Bothy Brand Expansion

Gin Bothy founder Kim Cameron has today announced a new partnership as a result of significant investment from Dark Blue Property Holdings LLC and Neace Ventures.

The move has allowed the creation of an experienced and talented Board of Directors,  securing the brand’s ambitious plans to develop their spirit portfolio.

Committed to using seasonal, local fruit Gin Bothy has since grown into one of Scotland’s leading drinks producers, with over 70,000 units sold annually across the globe.

Over the last 10 years brand has expanded from their home in Angus, now trading as Bothy Trading, housing all the Bothy brands including Gin Bothy, Jam Bothy, Bothy Butter, Hipflask Spirits, Rum Bothy and The Bothy Experience Visitor Centre in Glamis.

Gin Bothy Founder Kim Cameron said: “This is the right move at the right time for the brand and will help us to grow both within spirit specific sectors and our international markets.  Investment from and involvement of Dark Blue Property Holdings LLC and Neace Ventures, as well as the creation of our board, is fundamental to the growth of all the Bothy brands and the launch of a new spirit later this month.

“We have an amazing opportunity to create something very special we’re incredibly excited and passionate about this deal that will allow us to really drive expansion forward.”

Dark Blue Property Holdings LLC are owners of Dundee Football Club, shareholders in 71 Brewing in Dundee, and owners of the 29 acre development near Camperdown Park in Dundee, as well as holding interest in other American companies and bring experience within the drinks industry and the global market to the Bothy brands.
